In partnership with the British Council, EFDSS and Banglanatak, Folk Nations Kolkata was one part of a three year initiative of British Council work in India.

I project managed the Kolkata element of Folk Nations, initially a 10 artist multi-nation residency in February 2013.

and 2 artists from each of India, Pakistan & Bangladesh, they embarked upon a week long exploration of music and traditions; culminating with a memorable concert in Kolkata.

The project evolved into 6 piece show that performed in future years in both India and the UK, including performances at

Alchemy Festival (May 2014)
Shrewsbury Folk Festival (August 2015)
