Since 2006 I have been involved in and have experience of programming a wide range of venues and festivals, either as the in house programmer or as a consultant programmer.
Over the past 10 years or so, I have programmed many hundreds of shows, and some of the venues I have worked with include

Arts Centre in Shrewsbury, 1 room, 105 capacity
Previously programmed and promoted over 60 shows between 2008 and 2013 under the banner of Shrewsbury Folk Festival's year long activities.
Artists included Crooked Still, Chris Wood, Richard Shindell, Heidi Talbot, Bella Hardy.
Autumn 2016 onwards, I am programming for the venue and their new folk concert series starting in October 2016 we present at least 10 shows per year.

Large scale folk festival taking place of 4 days in Shrewsbury. Many concert spaces including venues of 3000+, and a varied programme of concerts, workshops, dance and family activities.

Involved in programming well over 500 artists including Richard Thompson, The Duhks, Afro Celt Sound System, Bellowhead, Billy Bragg, The Wailin' Jennys and more

3 concert spaces (420, 120 and 60 capacity).
over 130 shows including Carolina Chocolate Drops, Kate Rusby, The Full English, Show of Hands, The Unthanks, The Duhks, The Stray Birds.
Including a number of multi-artist bill shows including themed shows, and artists performing unique shows including albums performed track by track.

UK Horizons Room 2013 - present
From 2013 UK artists have had a dedicated room at the annual International Folk Alliance conference that offers all the UK artists a home room to perform in.
Working in partnership with British Underground, EFDSS and trac, I programme around 40 showcases over 4 days in the UK room, and work with other international partners to source other showcase opportunites across the event.
Artists include Josienne Clarke & Ben Walker, The Young 'Uns, Leveret, Lady Maisery and more
